With the growth in the job market and a shrinking workforce, expressing appreciation and acknowledging the importance of workers isn’t limited to just Labor Day. One current expression is creating places to work that are designed to be appealing, so appealing that workers may opt to come into work rather than work remotely.
Freedom Commons is a new office complex with an adjacent parking garage in central Provo, Utah near the convention center. Okland Construction built Freedom Commons, and Beecher Walker was the architect.

Here you can see the welcoming entry and adjacent parking garage.

Provo is really growing up with tree-lined streets and a vibrant downtown area.

The lobby fills with natural light and soars two stories. The training room on the second level gains extra daylight from the lobby window.

A main floor office off the lobby has floor-to-ceiling glass on both the lobby and courtyard side.

From inside the office, the floor-to-ceiling glass is repeated for the conference room, providing transparency on three sides.

The cubicles and private offices have an ease and sense of spaciousness.
I wish you a wonderful Labor Day weekend, and to workers everywhere, thank you.
