In just a week, most of our lives have changed dramatically as we seek to protect ourselves, our families, and our communities from the contagion of COVID-19 by voluntary self-isolation. Today, I’m celebrating staying in and staying close and the spaces in homes that make it easier and more fun. The opening shot is a children’s library by Ezra Lee Design Build.
There is no need for mini muscles to atrophy during home seclusion. Invite the kids into the home gym to work out. (Ezra Lee Design Build)
A home stage with lights and a sound system would be heaven for a certain pre-teen that I am thinking about. Who knows? The family band might go on to fame and fanfare. (Ezra Lee Design Build)
Streaming provides entertainment options that weren’t available when children were confined home in the 1950s with chicken pox, mumps, and measles. This home design (Ezra Lee Design Build) offers oversite from the kitchen to make sure the entertainment is family approved.
Finally, I offer a reminder that as we shift into spring, warmer and healthier days are coming.
Here’s wishing you are well and stay well.
