When Mark and Mary Stevens set out to build their dream vacation home in Cabo San Lucas, they found the perfect spot—and the perfect partner in designer Natalie Ellis of Utah’s Denton House. What started as a chance meeting turned into Casa en las Rocas (aka House on the Rocks), a breezy, beachy retreat full of bold stone patterns, ocean-inspired colors and hand-crafted details by talented local artisans. At nearly 20,000 square feet, the home is big—but thanks to a smart layout and central courtyard, it still feels laid-back and welcoming. Here, we’re sharing extra photos not included in the original On the Rocks feature story, with more of the style, texture and views that make this Mexico getaway unforgettable.
