There are few things more powerful than when two artful design minds come together. That kind of powerhouse collaboration showed its strength in our recent feature, Where Artistry Meets Altitude, where designers Stephanie Hunt of Flairhunter and Hope Chapelle of Hughen House combine their expertise to create a home full of energy, color and charm.

In the following web-exclusive imagery, we dive further into the home, exploring even more unexpected spaces and the strategies that brought them to life.

Meant to be a quiet, elegant retreat, the primary bedroom’s design leaned heavily into fabrics and profiles for visual interest, with the only strong movement being in the large-scale rug pattern. Soft curves are present in delicate pendant lights, offering contrast to the angled ceiling. A large travertine fireplace grounds the design. Benjamin Moore’s Black Beauty paint in a high-gloss finish immediately draws the eye to a beveled-edge stone-top vanity in the main level powder bathroom. Sconces are by Kelly Wearstler. “We wanted something dressier, moodier and just a little bit funkier for this house,” says Chapelle. “This hits the dark, art-deco elements present in the home’s adjacent bar space.” Mirror by Robern; Stone by European Marble and Granite; Plaster by Marrwall; Tile by Cement Tile Shop.

In a cozy ‘man-cave,’ menswear-inspired patterns create a relaxed atmosphere for relaxation. Pleated drapes help to fill the volume of the 12-foot ceiling, and decor includes nods to the home’s alpine location. Drapery by Kravet; Sofa by A. Off the primary suite, a serene swing custom built by Feathers is perfectly angled for enjoying Deer Valley’s iconic views.

A Noir table atop an Art Hide rug provides a chic space for games and entertaining. Chairs by RH with custom Donghia upholstery mirror the moody, art-deco vibe of the nearby home bar, featured in our original tour.

The designers were challenged to give this bathroom a unique look, without using intense color. Enter the art of contrast: from dark smoked glass sconces to a full-vanity-length mirror, the subtle elements of the room exude femininity and flair. Sconces by Sklo.

A bubble-like fixture from The Light Factory floats over a deep soaking tub, giving a cheeky nod to the luxury of a bubble bath. Yellows in the patterned roman shade play off of sunshine hues in the shower tile, all cooled by grey finishes throughout the space. Tub surround by European Marble & Granite. This office was meant to be functional for the homeowner, a finance executive who works from home while in residence. “The Holly Hunt light fixture sports a profile in subtle nod to the stock market,” says Hunt. Rich reds in the rug coordinate with vintage art pieces on the walls. Custom door by Vision Makers; desk by Croft House; Chair by Arhaus.
