With adult children and young grandchildren who visit often, the homeowners of a St. George estate entrusted Traveller and Worthington to create a home that was at once livable and cozy, as well as luxurious. Built in 2025 by Traveller’s husband, Kason Traveller of K.H. Traveller Custom Homes, and designed by architect Scott Hughes, of Paradise Home Design, the 9,000-plus-square-foot residence, which was featured this past February in the 2026 St. George Parade of Homes, mesmerizes and impresses from the moment one crosses the threshold.

“Hallways are often overlooked, but we saw this as an opportunity to create one of the most memorable moments in the home. We were immediately drawn to the idea of transforming a simple corridor into something that felt artistic, layered, and unexpected. The homeowners trusted our vision of carrying the mural throughout the entire length of the hallway, allowing it to reveal itself little by little as you move through the space. The scale, detail, and storytelling within the mural
create a sense of discovery that makes the hallway feel far more like a gallery than a passageway. It is a bold design choice that brings personality and character to the heart of the home.”

Giving the everyday a timeless grandeur without sacrificing function and livability is what defines the home’s genius design — a theme perfectly represented in areas like the main hallway, which features a dramatic Phillip Jefferies wallcovering, and in the craft room, which supports the wife’s love for making quilts, sewing, and creating with her grandchildren. “Equal parts functional and beautiful, the [craft] room was designed to make everyday creativity feel a little more extraordinary,” Traveller says.

“The seating area in the primary suite was designed as a quiet retreat within the home, and the rug played a key role in defining that space. We selected this beautiful Capel rug for its timeless pattern, soft texture, and ability to add warmth without overwhelming the room. Its subtle color palette complements the surrounding finishes while bringing depth and character to the space, creating an inviting area to relax, unwind, and take in the stunning views.”

When asked how she feels about the home now that it’s complete, Traveller gushes: “It’s one of my favorite projects that I’ve been a part of. Lori and I designed the home as if we were going to move in there. There isn’t anything I would change about the home.”
